A turbine employee leaked to me that there is a new PvP map almost ready for use, along with heaps of new MP and freep stuff, which will be released with a major update centered around events in Rohan.
In a stroke of marketing genius, they only plan to release it when The Old Republic comes out, unless something severe happens to lotro's player numbers before then.
