Большинству посетителей данного форума известно, что он посвящен онлайн-игре Властелин Колец Онлайн. Особое внимание следует обратить на первые два слова. "Онлайн-игра" значит то, что в этой игре параллельно могут принимать участие сотни игроков, обмениваясь данными с сервером. Обычно обмен информацией происходит незаметно для игрока. Но иногда возникает такая ситуация, когда необходимо узнать, есть ли какие-то проблемы с передачей данных.

Краткая справка о передаче информации (+/-)

Информация передается с использованием "адреса компьютера" или, как его называют, IP-адреса. Кроме того, используется такое понятие, как "порт".
Для простоты представим, что компьютер - это большой дом. Тогда IP - это адрес дома, а порт - номер двери. Номера портов расположены в диапазоне от 0 до 65535. Немного того, что стоит знать о портах:
1) Порт может быть занят только одной программой и в этот момент не может использоваться другой программой.
2) Все программы для связи между собой посредством сети используют порты.
3) Если порт открыт, то он может принимать данные.
4) Если закрыт - нет.

В этом руководстве я расскажу о том, как проверить доступность портов, необходимых для ЛОТРО, используя специальную программу.
Для начала скачайте эту программу.
Запустив ее, вы увидите примерно такой интерфейс.



Как вы видите, интерфейс очень прост и понятен. Нажмите кнопку "Проверить" и дождитесь окончания работы программы. Обращаю ваше внимание на то, что кнопка "Проверить" будет недоступна для нажатия во время проверки. Об окончании работы вам сообщит строка "Все проверилось. Нажмите кнопку "Скопировать" и результат окажется в буфере обмена". Строка показана на следующем изображении.



После этого можно нажать кнопку "Скопировать" для того, чтобы приложить результат проверки к запросу в службу технической поддержки или к сообщению на форуме. Или нажмите кнопку "Проверить" для повторной проверки.

Однако, ошибку интереснее решить самостоятельно. И по этой причине заключительная часть руководства посвящена тому, как самому интерпретировать результат проверки и тому, как найти возможные причины проблем.

Результаты проверки выглядят так:
Синим цветом обозначен адрес, по которому проводилась проверка.
Зеленым цветом отмечено сообщение о том, что данному соединению ничего не мешает.
Красным цветом отмечено то, что данное соединение не удалось.

Обращаю ваше внимание на то, что в несколько сообщений об удачной проверке может попасть одно о неудачной. Обычно это ничего плохого не значит.
