That blue line between a quest ring and my character indicator is the reference. I used the mini map quest tracker to find myself a straight line with a distance of 1000 meters, then resized the maps so that those 1000 meters were equally long in all of them. Then cleaned out the inaccessible parts and this is how it looks like. The line in Moria is 1250 meters, but the resizing was done with that in mind so there's no error there.
