Classes
Burglar- (MC)The icon for Strategic Strike has been updated to something that fits the skill.
Captain- “Rohirric Armaments of the Oath-breaker”, an upgraded version of “Armaments of the Oath-breaker” is now available from your class trainer. It is equippable at level 77.
Champion- (MC) Mounted Strike should now be dispelled when you are dismounted.
- (MC) Updated the tooltips on Horn Blast to display the correct values to allow for clarity in explaining what the champion's effects will be.
- (MC) The benefit from Mounted Strike will now be dispelled when dismounting.
- (MC) Horn Blast is now an AOE skill in all stances.
- (MC) Skills in Riddermark are now AoE and are based off the target's location, rather than the champion's location. This will make it so that the skills execute when near a valid target rather than away from targets.
Guardian- (beta) The legacy for Guardian's Ward duration will now work in Overpower stance.
- (MC) Driving Slash while in Riddermark will apply its movement debuff 50% of the time, increased from 20%.
- (MC) Driving Slash while in Red Dawn will apply an armour debuff to a target reducing their armour by 500 for 15 seconds.
- (MC) Staggering Slash will now apply the secondary effects associated with the skills when the skill successfully strikes an opponent. When the guardian critically strikes a target the effect will be doubled in magnitude.
- (MC) Pledge to Rohan in Rohirrim will now boost mitigations for 15 seconds.
- (MC) Pledge to Rohan in Riddermark will reduce the Guardian's threat and increase their war-steeds agility for 15 seconds.
- (MC) Pledge to Rohan in Red Dawn will increase the Guardian's damage by 10% and fill their war-steed's Fury bar.
- (Beta)Keen Blade 3 trait bonus - Overpower damage bonus increased from 3 to 5%
- (Beta)Keen Blade 4 trait bonus - Overpower damage bonus increased from 10 to 15%

Hunter- (MC) Hunter skills were missing a property on their Devastating Criticals that would enhance the damage done by devastating criticals. It has been added onto their skills.
- (beta) Cry of the Hunter will now dispel any slows.
Lore-master- (MC) The benefits of Discipline: Riddermark now also affect skills earned from traits and all other Mounted Skills.
- (MC) The flavour text for the skill Metal and Mettle has been updated.
- (MC) Bond of the Rider while in Discipline: Riddermark should no longer display that it will restore morale when it only restores power.
- (Beta) Bane Flare duration will now be reduced as Nature's Fury traits are slotted.
- (MC) Increased Damage on Metal and Mettle.
- (MC) Decreased cooldown on Enduring Embers to 4 seconds.
- (MC) Increased Duration on Mearas-lore to 15 seconds.

Minstrel- (MC) Minstrel Coda modifiers from Anthems will now function correctly.
- (MC) Females of the Race of Man will now play the correct animations when on a war-steed.
- (MC) Male and Female Elves will now play the correct animations when on a war-steed.
- (MC) Dwarves will now play the correct animations when on a war-steed.
- (MC) Male and Female Hobbits will now play the correct animations when on a war-steed.
- (MC) Minstrel sounds have returned to mounted skills
- (MC) Minstrels will now correctly receive the minstrel version of Discipline: Red Dawn.
- (MC) Anthem of the Rohirrim will now correctly reduce the cost of Call of the Eorlingas.
- The Minstrel skill Anthem of Compassion's tooltip will now display the correct effect when 4 Watcher of Resolve traits are slotted.
Rune-keeper- (MC) Discipline: Red Dawn now increases all damage not just tactical.
- (MC) Typos, tooltips and all other associated bugs have been fixed.
- (MC) Attunement is now called out specifically in skills where it is transitioned up or down.
- (MC) Invoke the Elements is now split into three damage types based off ot the Rune-keeper's stance. Rohirrim deals frost, Riddermark Lightning and Red Dawn fire. Red Dawn is a stacking fire dot that scale damage wise and case stack three times. Rohirrim is more consistent damage, Riddermark is burst damage with higher critical damage and chance.
- Fixation in all stances now scales the effects to be more potent with each application.
- Debate now lasts for 60 seconds in all Disciplines unless it is removed by early exit from a Discipline or the effect triggering because the Rune-keeper was struck in combat. Cooldown on this skill was also increases to 30 seconds.
- Resolution now has a cooldown of 15 seconds.
Warden- (MC) Roar of the Eorlingas now has a healing effect that is applied to the warden in all stances. Rohirrim is the highest heal, Riddermark next and Red dawn last.
- Warden: The damage reflect on Wall of Steel in Recklessness and Assailment has been increased, but these effects can no longer stack.
- (MC) When switching Disciplines, or when dismounted from their war-steeds, wardens will now lose the current benefits of their auto-attack buff.
- (MC) Fixed typos in the tooltips for Discipline: Rohirrim and Discipline: Red Dawn.
- (MC) Clash of Steel and will while in Discipline: Rohirrim will now correctly bestow the heal for the mount as well.
- (MC) Halt the Charge will now actively halt unmounted targets.
- Life-taps are now their own class of effect, and any Traits or Trait Line Bonuses which affect DoT or HoT duration will no longer affect Life-taps.
- The Trait “Deadly Insult” now also adds two pulses to Warden Life-taps.
- Having 4 traits slotted in the “Way of the Shield” trait line will also grant two pulses to Warden Life-taps.
Skirmishes, Raids, and Instances- (Bullroarer Only) Skirmishes -- Skirmish Raid weapons will now have a minimum usage level of 85 when obtained at level 85, not 96. Although I saw no problem with having players fighting without weapons, since back in my day we fought Thaurlach in blinding snow, uphill bothways without any of them newfangled Skirmish Raid weapons, someone in QA was getting a little testy. Oh, and get off my lawn!
Mounted Combat- Healing skills in Mounted Combat will now appropriately use the outgoing healing stat.
- Classes will now respect the block parry and evade rules of their class.
- Most Toggle skills that should be suppressed while mounted on a war-steed, but return when forcibly dismounted or dismounting by choice have been set to suppress correctly.
- (MC) (General) - Skills that should be suppressed rather than dispelled when mounting a war-steed will now be suppressed. (No, really this time!)
- (MC) (General) - Skills used while on war-steeds should now allow players to execute skills while only partially facing their targets. This should enable a much better and wider attack radius that what was previously available.
- (MC) (General) - All Dsicipline skills have been set to a cooldown of 1 second and will trigger a cooldown on all other Discipline skills.
- Beta Only: Fixed a bug which made it so that you would never be able to accumulate Fury if you ever dismount while Fury meter was moving.
- Acquisiton of Disciplines is now at the completion of the quest which provides you with your war-steeds.
- AoE skills that are used while mounted will now have a ranged and selection requirement unless they are heals, which are specifically meant to heal in an area around the caster.
The Ettenmoors- Creeps who have the level 70-79 Steel-bound Lootbox will will be able to get teh same rewards from them as the level 80-85 lootboxes.
- (BETA Only) Group members that have not contributed to pvp kills through healing or damage are once again rewarded from the pool earned by those fellows that did contribute. The rewards for all members in the fellowship/group are modified down by how many people in the group did not directly contribute. For example, if 2 players kill a monster player and 1 of those players is in a group of 3 (including himself), then all 3 members of the fellowship will get rewarded as if 4 people had contributed in the kill while the player not in the fellowship will still be rewarded like there were only 2 contributors (which, in his/her eyes, there were).
- March: now usable while moving.
- Freep Debuff and DoT icons now have icon borders that match the color of Creep cure potions.
- Share the Fun can no longer be applied to Artifact carries.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the Weaver's Hatchling from being able to pass through the gates of Gramsfoot.
- Krahjarn Tyrant -Fixed a bug that was preventing his Flurry of Blows attack from damaging Freeps.
Weaver- -Toxic Carapace: Reduced the maximum duration of Toxic Carpace from 30s to 15s (2s per Venom Pip consumed).
- Stalker
- -Piercing Claws: Damage reduced to 5% of the targets max health. Damage bypasses Mitigations and Audacity. Skill can now critically hit.
Black Arrow- -Keen Eye Stance: Removed the movement speed debuff and instead made the effect Combat Only. 9s after combat ends, the Keen Eye Stance buffs will be cleared.
- -Centre: Removed the power cost from the skill
- -Feel the Burn: Converts all Black Arrow skills to Fire Damage
- -Explosive Arrow: Induction reduced from 2s to 1.5s; Now does a small amount of upfront damage.
- -Fire Trap & Set Trap no longer share cooldowns
- -Swift Draw: Induction reduction increased from .3 to .5
- -Fire Trap: Damage increased
- -Snare: DoT damage increased
Ranger- -Righteous Arrow: Range reduced to 30m; Induction reduced to 1s; Usable while moving

Troll- -Reduced troll health
- -Reduced Troll damage relative to the amount of AoE the session has.
- - Fixed a bug that caused the Trolls Parry and Evade rate to be upwards of 60%.
Consumable Pricing- With the increase in Commendation accrual rates, the cost of PvMP consumables has increased from 125 Commendations to 300 Commendations for a stack of 5.
- The Black Arrow skill “Snare” will no longer display redundant effect information in its tooltip.
Crumbling Brands- The potency of the Crumbling Brands offered in the LotRO Store have been reduced. Instead of 60s of Crowd Control immunity every 5 minutes, they are now 10s of Crowd Control Immunity every 2 minutes.
- These changes will only impact Brands purchased after Update 8. Exising Brands will retain their original potency.

Legendary Items- Legendary Bridles are now restricted to specific steed use. A player must have points invested into a steed tree in order to equip its respective bridle.
- You can now correctly see the upgrade stars in the tooltips for Legendary Items in your vault, shortcut links, auction listings, etc.
- New relics were created to replace those that were depreciated with the most recent class skill changes:
- Burglar: Strategic Strike Crit Chance => 10% Increased Movement Speed while using Trick: Stratagem
- Champion: 10% Mounted Strike Crit Chance => 10% Sundering Blow Crit Chance
- Champion: 2s duration per fervour on Recuperate effects => 1s duration per fervour on Recuperate, Horn Blast, and Destabilizing Strike effects
- Guardian: 20% Mitigation while using Pledge to Rohan => 20% effect magnitude while using Staggering Slash
- Champion Runes and Burglar Tools Legendary Items can now be upgraded with the various types of Star-lit Crystals. As part of this change, you will see the Incoming Healing rating for level 66 Legendary Items be much improved. However the Incoming Healing rating for level 50-64 Legendary Items will be somewhat less.
- Wardens had one of their LI Class Relics replaced. Rather than granting Strike With Power a chance to reset Skill of the Eorlingas, Warden's will now receive 10% buff magnitude from Assault of the Eorlingas, Roar of the Eorlingas, and Defence of the Eorlingas
- - Crafted Mounted Relics have undergone a naming pass to give off more of a sense of progression and allow players to differentiate between varying tiers of the same relics
Items- Curing Salves (Milkthistle, Lhinestad, Healing, and Conhuith) should properly dispel debuffs up to their specified maximum level, regardless of target level.
- Locked lootbox jewelry now gives bonuses to virtues directly, rather than as set bonuses.
- (Bullroarer Only) - Items - PvMP - The Arms of the Sovereign Blade 3-set bonus now has a chance to give a Parry event, instead of a Block event, when using Brutal Assault.
- (Bullroarer Only) Items - The Hytbold armour sets will no longer require specific quests to equip the items. Instead, players without the specific quests completed will not be able to barter for the items. This way a player can send Hytbold armor from one character to another on their account, without both needing to have completed the quests.
Travel & Mounts- A new horse is available from the Heroes of Limlight Gorge rep vendor.
Crafting- Because some instruments were more powerful than others, all tier 7 crafted instruments have been rebalanced. They should now be more consistent with each other & provide better choices for minstrels.
User Interface- Ghosted out encounters in the “Specific” tab of Instance Finder no longer become ungreyed out when you close and reopen their category while they are selected.
- You can now search for Passive Skills, Mount Skills and Gambits.
- The color picker in the Quest Guide map display now expands to the left instead of to the right. As part of this, the display can now be dragged all the way to the right of the screen if so desired.
- Pet vital bars will no longer hide the effects behind them when the effects are behind the invisible portion of the vital bars
- Mount Panel now has categories for mounts: Anniversary, Deed, Exclusive, Festival, Promotional, Reputation, Standard and War-steed.
Chat and Social- You can now have both the profanity filter and chat timestamps enabled at the same time.
Quest Guide- Quest Guide just got smarter - for some quests which only allowed you to use a particular item once, and then have to go hunt down another one of those items, quest guide now will no longer show you the item that has already been used.
NPCs & Creatures- Red eye the wolf now has red eyes!
Quests- [Bullroarer only] The Wold (post-Langhold) has received a huge overhaul of quest flow and story. Let us know what you think of the changes!
MAC OSX- Fixed: OSX: Num pad minus was being treated as a regular minus key
- Fixed: OSX: Ctrl Left was being interpreted as Ctrl Right
- New: OSX: Support for entering multi-keystroke characters, such as option-e, e in the US key layout, or ^ o in the French layout.
